Crash test of PAS68/IWA14-1 Ultra shallow blocker

We are pleased to inform that TiSO engineers have developed and successfully tested the innovative perimeter protection solution - PAS68/IWA14-1 (7,5t@48kph) Ultra Shallow Road Blocker.

PAS68/IWA14-1 (7,5t@48kph) Ultra Shallow Road Blocker has been successfully tested for compliance with international standards PAS68 and IWA14-1. As a result of the test, it was determined that road blocker is capable of stopping a 7.5-ton truck moving at a speed of 48 km / h. At the same time, reaching a penetration level less than 1 meter.

The installation depth of the Ultra Shallow Road Blocker is only 200 mm. According to this advantage, the blocker can be installed in areas where underground utilities are located close to the surface of the earth.

PAS68/IWA14-1 (7,5t@48kph) Ultra Shallow Road Blocker has a unique design and is very different from most blocking devices on the market. The dynamic part of the blocker is closed by a protective “curtain”. Thus, the lock is protected from any elements from outside. At the same time, it can be easily dismantled, if necessary (scheduled maintenance, for example).

Advantages of PAS68/IWA14-1 (7,5t@48kph) Ultra Shallow Road Blocker:
- Provides high protection of the territory, as evidenced by successfully passed crash tests.
- PAS68: 2013 and IWA 14-1: 2013.
- Ultra Shallow Road Blocker is hydraulically driven.
- Very simple and economical installation.
- The upper plate on the dynamic part is made of a cast sheet of structural steel, which enhances the shockproof properties of the road blocker. It also provides a long service life (given that vehicles regularly pass through the lock in a closed state).
- The protective “curtain” can be easily removed (for scheduled maintenance, for example).
